history of macedonian cinematography

Krug is a circle, a group of creative individuals, based in London, with similar ideas and aspirations to present the finest of Macedonian culture, tradition and heritage to UK and worldwide audience of all ages.

Our main aim is to integrate the cultural disciplines of art, craft, theatre, music, film, literature, photography and architecture, presenting them in a series of single or multimedia events. Members of the group have their own areas of expertise and create their own projects, so Krug develops new and exciting programs every year. Projects are delivered individually, in collaboration with other group members and/or in partnerships with external organizations.

Krug has gained support from the Macedonian Embassy in the UK.
The Ambassador Mrs. Marija Efremova expressed great interest and enthusiasm for our projects as we promote Macedonia in her best possible light.

The concept of Krug was created by its founder Vesna Sokolovska as part of her studies for postgraduate diploma in Arts Management at Birkbeck University. Having evolved through challenging developmental phases, it is now an established organization, and proud to launch its first prestigious event.

As a professional Arts Manager, Vesna Sokolovska has brought key people from the film industry in Macedonia, as well as experts from Film London to ensure MFF’s success.
